Linkwood was established in 1980, as an engineering consultancy company working exclusively within the woodworking industry.  Whilst working on a project for a client in the USA in 1986 Linkwood was introduced to Pattern Systems, and their modular approach to manufacturing software, as packaged products.

Linkwood now has more than a decade of experience working with Pattern Systems manufacturing software programs, which fully integrate with Linkwood's own Quick Sales and Inventory Control programs.  Linkwood's carefully selected range of products is at the forefront of woodworking software systems and are suitable for kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, office, shop fitting, door and window manufacturers.  Linkwood has the experience, knowledge and know-how for the supply, integration and support of software and systems for woodworking manufacturers, from a single stand alone optimiser to a totally integrated manufacturing system with links to CNC equipment.

The software Linkwood offers is backed up by some of the industries most experienced training and support staff with over 40 years collective experience of setting up Computer Aided Manufacturing systems for woodworking companies around the world.  Also other services are available from supplying computer hardware to the setting up of the clients custom product catalogue, used by the backbone of the system, Product Planner.
